MTG: Modern Masters
Our store has been getting a lot of inquires about this new (and very limited run) set that comes out June 7, 2013. At this time we don't know how many total boxes we will be getting from our distributors. We have a rough idea, but no final count. Wizards is purposely releasing this set in very limited numbers as to not flood the market with too many re-prints of valuable cards. Basically they don't want to upset collectors and bring down existing card values. That's their reasoning for it...
Packs are supposed to be $6.99/ea, but since this set is so limited, expect that price to be the minimum that some retailers will be charging. I'm expecting the price to be $7.99-9.99 a pack based on market research at this time, but I suspect these prices will go higher over time. At this time we are not doing pre-orders for boxes. When and if we do entire boxes for sale we will post it online and in the store with as much advanced notice possible. Best guess boxes will be $200 or more. Each box is 24 packs and each pack is 15 cards. Each pack does include 1 Foil and there are no basic lands for this set. There are also new token cards and the set is 229 total cards which are re-prints from Eighth Edition thru the Alara Block. This set is not standard legal and newer players should talk to one of our friendly staff to determine if its the right set for you before purchasing! Magic: Pre-release & Release - Dragon's Maze!
Prerelease Events: April 27 and 28, 2013
Release Date: May 3, 2013
Game Day: May 25 and 26, 2013
Set Information: Dragon's Maze features 156 black-bordered cards, including randomly inserted premium versions of all cards in the set. Dragon's Maze is available in booster packs, intro packs, and fat packs.
The Prerelease
Fight For Your Guild - For the first time, players will be able to choose from any of the ten guilds in Ravnica to play in the Dragon's Maze Prerelease! In addition to a player's selected guild, each Guild Prerelease Pack has a "secret ally" guild which will share one mana color with the selected guild. Each player receives a Dragon's Maze Guild Prerelease Pack, which contains 4 Dragon's Maze booster packs, 1 Return to Ravnica guild booster pack, and 1 Gatecrash guild booster pack. Each player also receives one Maze's End promo card (while supplies last).
NOTE: The Maze's End promo cards are not included in the individual Guild Prerelease Packs and for this event the players may NOT use the promo card in their tournament decks.
Run the Implicit Maze - Each player gets a guild symbol button to show his or her allegiance to his or her guild. Each time a player wins a match during the tournament, his or her guild moves farther through the Implicit Maze.
Each member of the first guild to complete the Implicit Maze will get a "Champion of the Maze" achievement code card, which he or she can redeem on PlaneswalkerPoints.com for a badge and achievement. Additionally, members of each other guild to complete the Implicit Maze after the first will receive "Maze Runner" achievement code cards to redeem on PlaneswalkerPoints.com, while supplies last. When the Maze is completed, each player participating in the Implicit Maze will receive an alternate art foil Plains promo card (while supplies last).

Sealed Deck - Guild Based – 4 Boosters and 2 Guild Packs
4 Rounds, Swiss Style (Each player plays each round)
Tie-Break Rounds (extra matches played) will be used to determine 1st Place Box Prize in Events #1,3,6.

Each Player gets 1 Promo and a guild button for participating in the tournament and a special foil land for participating in the Implicit Maze!

*Box of Gatecrash will be awarded May 3, 2013 when the set releases and is only awarded at the AFZ #1, AFZ #3 & AFZ #6 events. Due to the guild based sealed deck format, there is limited supply of boosters for prize support during the Pre-Release. If enough supply is available to payout at the Pre-Release, the winners will be contacted and awarded immediately.

AFZ now has Cardfight Vanguard singles available for Buy/Sell/Trade! We've been hard at work getting everything ready and are prepared to expand into the full world of CFV with tournaments, events and products. CFV has been extremely popular around the world and came over to the US about a year ago.

- The 15 lands are all printed in the current card frame. For some, it is for the first time.
- From the Vault: Realms will be available world-wide in English only, and will have an extremely limited print run.
- All cards are black bordered and tournament legal. This means that these cards are legal for use in any tournaments where the original printings are still legal. For some cards, it is their first time with a black border.
