Our newest arcade machine is finally up and running. It still needs a few cosmetic fixes, but the game is playing very well and is lots of fun! Come check it out.

Anime 2D fighter, 1P or 2P action. Very rare and released only in Japan.

Anime Fan Zone is having a Cosplay Contest! Come dressed up in your best outfit from either anime, gaming or related characters next weekend. Everyone in costume will get 10% all their purchases while in costume!

Prizes will be given away to the best cosplayers of the weekend. We'll be taking pictures of everyone in the store and the results (and all your pics) will be on the website. Your contact info will be required so we may contact you to claim your prizes!

Open to all ages. The best costume showing up the arcade lock-in Saturday night will get free entry. All other cosplay entries get 10% off! Judging for the free lock-in pass will commence at 10pm, so be early if you plan to enter.

Just added a Pump it Up Exceed & House of the Dead to the video arcade. PIU is similar to DDR, but is 5 panel dancing action. HOD is a classic zombie shooter by Sega. Give them both a try today!

And if that wasn't enough, we've upgraded Initial D to Version 3 on the twin cabinet. Version 3 hosts 2 completely new tracks, Akina can be raced in the snow now, new cars and an updated Story Mode and Bunta Challenge.

Finally, we should have a new anime 2D fighter any day now. Melty Blood, an import from Japan, is very similar to other fighters like Guilty Gear or Arcana Heart. We are just waiting on the final parts for the upgrade.

Some major website changes have begun. Enjoy the new polished site and look forward to many more improvements to come. Lots of updates and changes are coming very soon. Keep checking back for more updates.

Welcome to the newest addition to the AFZ site! We thought adding a blog and comments is far more interactive for our customers and easier to manage than forums. And hopefully far less spam in the process!

Let us know what you think of the new website and areas we can improve. There's a long road ahead with all the changes, such as our online store and many other sections being worked on as we speak (or type).
