AFZ Owners
The owners, Peter and Amber Zimmer, turned a dream into reality February, 2009. We started the business at Anime Milwaukee 2009 and haven't looked back since. While our initial goal was to open a brick and mortar store, business plans never go exactly as planned.
Over the course of 2009, we traveled from one end of the country to the other, attending as many anime cons as we could. We ended up attending 21 anime cons our first year and it was quite the experience. So much was learned, new experiences and new friendships made.
In March, 2010, Anime Fan Zone opened its first brick and mortar store in Milwaukee, WI. It was a dream come true, even if it took a couple years longer than expected.

Peter Zimmer
As Owner and General Manager of Anime Fan Zone, Peter oversees all the day to day operations of the business. With several years of retail management, arcade management and general business knowledge, AFZ is a natural fit for him. Japanese anime and gaming has been a part of Peter's life for as long as he can remember.
For over 20 years, its been Peter's dream to have his own business. But what kind of business? It wasn't until marrying Amber before realizing that answer. And things are only getting started.

Amber Zimmer
As Owner of AFZ, Amber oversees a number of areas within the business. She is the face of the business and is usually the one greeting everyone as they enter the store. Amber is one of the sweetest you'll ever meet, which is one of the reasons why our customer service is #1!
Amber is the main contact for special events, parties and organizing social events in the store.
