AFZ Store Events
Anime Fan Zone hosts of variety of events in our store. Interested in running an event or private party, contact Amber via email or call the store (414-434-8624). Birthday's, special occasions, tournaments, clubs, AFZ has you covered. Below is a listing of scheduled events.
Weekly Store Events
Friday Night Magic - This event is every Friday unless otherwise stated. Starts at 8pm and usually takes about 3-4 hours to complete. Format is Standard. This is an official Wizards event and sanctioned. Official FNM Promo Cards are awarded as prizes and players earn Planeswalker Points for participating. FNM Promos change each month and are a great way to collect rare and unique cards. Interested in finding out more or have questions, stop in the store, give us a call or email to find out more.
Saturday Night Magic (Modern) - Similar to FNM events and is every Saturday unless otherwise stated. Starts at 7pm and takes about 3 hours to complete. This is a more casual and fun night for playing competitive Magic. Free to enter and can be sanctioned or casual.
Pokemon League - Looking for other Pokemon Players? This is the place to get started. League play begins at 2pm every Saturday unless otherwise stated.
UFS Monday - Universal Fighting System is a fun and exciting card game. In UFS you choose your favorite fighter from multiple video games, comics, and other genres and battle against your friends for fun or to achieve immortal status. Fight epic battles against legendary opponents from Tekken, Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Dark Stalkers, King of Fighters, Samurai Showdown, ShadoWar, Penny Arcade, and more! Join Nick M. every Monday at 8pm as he teaches new players, offers prize support and answers all your questions about UFS.
Cardfight Vanguard - Sunday at 5pm, we now have enough players showing up for casual and organized play. This is your best chance to meet other players, trade cards and test out your decks. AFZ has boosters, decks, singles and tons of accessories like deck boxes and sleeves for all your Cardfight Vanguard needs! AFZ does singles and we are always buying/selling/trading!

Cosplay Contest - Do your best Garruk Pose!
AFZ hosted a special cosplay event. Do your best Garruk face next to our Garruk, the Veil-Cursed standee! Prizes went out to the best poses on Saturday at the Innistrad Release Party, 10/01/11!

Konami's Official DDR Tournament Qualifier
Konami attempted a national DDR tournament in 2010. While the event was canceled by Konami, AFZ did host the official qualifier and people got to compete and had a lot of fun in the process. Here are pictures from the event and the results!
