AFZ Store Events
Anime Fan Zone hosts of variety of events in our store. Interested in running an event or private party, contact Amber via email or call the store (414-434-8624). Birthday's, special occasions, tournaments, clubs, AFZ has you covered. Below is a listing of scheduled events.
Weekly Store Events
Friday Night Magic - This event is every Friday unless otherwise stated. Starts at 8pm and usually takes about 3 hours to complete. Format is Standard, which requires all cards to be only from the following sets: Scars of Mirrodin, Mirrodin Besieged, New Phyrexia, M12 and Innistrad. This is an official Wizards event and sanctioned. Official FNM Promo Cards are awarded as prizes and players earn Planeswalker Points for participating. FNM Promos change each month and are a great way to collect rare and unique cards to collect. Saturday Night Magic - Similar to FNM events and is every Saturday unless otherwise stated. Starts at 7pm and takes about 3 hours to complete. This is a more casual and fun night for playing competitive Magic. Usually the format is Standard, but depending on popular vote the night of, other formats may be played. Promos will be provided and this event is sanctioned. There is an optional prize pool available for this event.
Pokemon League - Looking for other Pokemon Players? This is the place to get started. League play begins at 2pm every Saturday unless otherwise stated.
Tuesday Night Casual Magic - There's quite a large group that gets together for casual Magic and other games on Tuesday nights. Most show up about 8pm and AFZ stays open late for the event. If you enjoy playing EDH (Commander) and other formats of Magic, this is a great opportunity for you.

Cosplay Contest - Do your best Garruk Pose!
AFZ hosted a special cosplay event. Do your best Garruk face next to our Garruk, the Veil-Cursed standee! Prizes went out to the best poses on Saturday at the Innistrad Release Party, 10/01/11!

Konami's Official DDR Tournament Qualifier
Konami attempted a national DDR tournament in 2010. While the event was canceled by Konami, AFZ did host the official qualifier and people got to compete and had a lot of fun in the process. Here are pictures from the event and the results!
